Location
IASC 2025 will be hosted on the University of Massachusetts Amherst campus in the western portion of the US State of Massachusetts. This will be the first time an IASC biennial conference will be hosted in the Eastern United States.
Plenary sessions
The conference will use two different venues for plenary sessions, both of which can accommodate up to 700 people.
Bowker Auditorium
Campus Center Auditorium and breakout rooms for Unconference component
Plenary sessions will occur every morning on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. We plan to use the Bowker Auditorium for the opening session on Monday and the morning session on Tuesday. We will use the Campus Center Auditorium and adjacent meeting rooms on the mornings of Wednesday and Friday, to support the “unconference” component (see Conference Schedule section).
Panel sessions
We will hold parallel panel and workshop session rooms for conference panel sessions throughout the week. The buildings housing these reserved rooms include “South College” and , the “Integrated Learning Center” – the two most modernized buildings on the UMass Amherst Campus.
