Airports and buses to UMass Amherst

IASC 2025 Participants should plan to fly into either Bradley International Airport at Hartford Connecticut USA or Boston Logan Airport in the City of Boston.

Bradley International Airport in Hartford, CT.

This is the nearest airport to UMass Amherst, about 50 minutes by drive away at Bradley International Airport in Hartford Connecticut. We recommend participants fly here. We are looking into reserving bus shuttles to get IASC members from the Bradley airport to UMass Amherst at some regular times over the June 14-15th weekend before the conference starts. Please return to this page later in the year for more information on that. Participants can also make their own transport arrangements by contacting the “Valley Transporter” at https://valleytransporter.com/. Boston Logan International Airport in Boston

This airport is about a 2-hour drive from UMass Amherst by car and can take 3-4 hours by bus. For that reason, we recommend conference participants fly into Hartford Bradley Airport (above) instead of Boston Logan. We (the conference organizers) will not assist with transportation from Logan. If an IASC member wants to use this airport, we recommend that you make arrangements with Peter Pan Bus Lines prior to your flight for a reservation on a bus to the UMass Center of campus.
